Take a seat in the cozy cafés in Ikebukuro and Harajuku to enjoy warm dishes inspired by the main characters. The special touch is a travel theme that dresses the soccer players in outfits never seen before – and merchandise that is only offered as part of these pop-up stores.
Each character serves as the namesake of one main dish and one drink, both of which can be ordered individually. How about chicken tartar or pasta with meat sauce? Desserts are on the menu as well. You definitely won’t leave with an empty stomach.
Another reason to go are the free goodies: For each reservation, you get a note pad and for each main dish ordered a trading card. If you order a drink or dessert, you’ll receive a coaster. The blue cat-robot is a staple of Japanese popular culture and enjoys never-ending popularity. Children and adults alike love this restaurant, but it will close forever in January – make sure you don’t miss out!
A colorful menu awaits, ranging from cream puffs and soda with cotton candy to burgers. Every dish features Doraemon or one of its friends either as decoration or as part of the meal. They are nearly too cute to eat!
In alignment with the restaurant theme, several different goods for daily use can be bought at the location. Usually, part of the design is Doraemon wearing the hat of a kitchen chef and an apron – bags, stationary, plush keychains, this store has them all.
